Mass Market Laptops for Gaming Are Here
Just a while ago it seemed like fast laptops were only being produced by a handful of certain resellers and were built to order, not mass produced. The units were circulated in small qty’s but each systems had a significant profit margin. The cost was just too large to justify buying these kinds of notebook for people. People thought they were the best laptop computers and justifiably so. They would create a lot of buzz but I doubt lots of people would go out and buy laptop computers at high prices. As the massive computer manufacturers distinguish the potential revenues in gaming notebooks, the market is shifting. These are definitely high margin notebooks for the big manufacturers and they are aware of this fact. Margins have been so narrow recently that this is a great opportunity to get more cash by selling computers. With their bottomless marketing budgets I am confident they can get people to buy laptop computers like these. If I were a smaller system builder I would possibly be thinking of schemes to react to this type of competition. Now gaming notebooks will no longer be viewed as a specialist sector. Global manufacturers can employ their brand names to simply win purchasers over.
The laptops being launched by branded manufacturers are all vieing for the best laptop status. I think that local retailers may yet have an opportunity. I really doubt consumers would like to have the same configuration as everyone else in this type of market. These prospects have the technical know how and will decide which laptops are best. More often than not these sorts of customers are more interested in the specs than the aesthetics.
As a likely buyer myself this is really all a good development for me. I could envisage a couple of price wars taking place in this sector later. Although that is my take on it, its just my point of view and most likely not what will take place. New models are continuously being released and these latest systems always call for premium prices. The well known brands have already started in the gaming laptop computers division so we will have to look and see what what the result is I reckon.
I think this site (http://www.rizeon.com) are quite inexpensive for the notebooks they are selling.
