Intelius was founded in January of 2003 by Naveen Jain to offer integrated information to businesses and consumers online, providing them the safety they deserve and gearing them up with all the right information to assist them in coming up with daily decisions. Jain’s company holds its headquarters in Bellevue, Washington.

Originally, the company ran as an online search engine and directory. Throughout the years of the company’s existence, its founder and CEO, Naveen Jain managed to expand the variety of products and services it offers. A few of the additions made to its existing range of services and products are the social net search, property reports, criminal checks, employee screening, background checks and identity reports.

Jain has also worked to get rid of the occurrence of identity theft. Under his direction, Intelius efficiently reinforced its relations with the Security and Exchange Commission in 2006. The man is finding ways to deal with such problems so that people would no longer have to fret about the horror of having their identity taken away or stolen from them.

The brilliance of Jain, as evident in the success of his company, has now added ways for people to reconnect with family members and longtime friends with whom they have not kept in contact with for a long span of time.

Due to the efforts and innovations Jain has made in the electronic commerce arena, his unrelenting ardor for leadership and entrepreneurship helped him and his company acquire an assortment of awards and recognitions. The company was 127th out of the 500 fastest growing companies that Deloitte had ranked in the areas of life sciences, technology, media, and telecommunications in North America in 2008. Naveen Jain’s company also garnered other recognition such as being included in Inc. Magazine’s “America’s Top 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies”. Puget Sound Business Journal also hailed Intellius as “One of Washington’s Top Three Best Workplaces.”
